This July-August 1982 Vol. II, No. 6 edition of Big Apple Dyke News is a part of a larger Sinister Wisdom archive on the Nice Jewish Girls anthology. B.A.D. News was edited in this issue by Susan Cavin, Maricia Moyano, and Susan Ruth. It includes a notable article about activist group Wommin for Womyn by Sarah Schulman, photographs of the 1982 Gay/Lesbian March in New York City, and images of the 1982 NYC March for Disarmament as well as creative fiction, book excerpts, art reviews, and political think pieces on issues such as animal liberation. According to the New York Public Library database, the magazine was first published in the city in March 1981. It started as a monthly publication until Aug/Sept. of 1983, where it began to be published bimonthly, until its final issue in the spring of 1988.
